Can you check with Kathleen Schultz & see if she posted correctly? She logged 15.6 hours of vigorous biking for 83 miles. But the picture she posted shows a route of 15.67 miles ridden in a little over an hour & a half.
                    3
Appears she input it incorrectly; conversion chart shows 4 miles of biking = 1 mile. My husband did 33.5 miles biking that took 1 hr 45 min, and received 9.9 miles credit in the app
I just checked again; "Keeny" or Kathleen Schultz accidentally placed 15.67 or 15.7 hours instead of 1 hr 31 min, so the entry should be deleted. Then re-entered correctly.
I've noticed a few people's entries that seem to have made the same mistake.

Can you clarify the ending date? Race details says it ends Wednesday, March 30th at 11:59pm But the race description says it ends on March 29th. Just need to know the final end date to make sure we make it to the 177 finish.
                    1
The ending date is Tuesday, March 29th at midnight local time. Thanks for alerting us to that. Thanks for every mile and minute you and your team are putting into this challenge.

                    Sorry, I don’t know.
@Lewiepat - are you using the Racery platform? You enter your info under donate. (back a racer or back a team) and then click "Contribute now" The next screen will take you to enter your info. Thank you!

How do you add other activities ie biking, yoga?
On a desktop, when you click on "Log Activity", you will be defaulted to "running/walking". Just click the down-arrow next to it and you'll see all the other activities you can choose. Just put in the time (in minutes) that you did that activity and it will automatically convert it to miles for you. Everything but running/walking is effort-based (not distance based). On a mobile device, you should see an upside down triangle next to "running/walking" - just select it as well. Thanks for participating in this event!

I joined the Lakeville, Minnesota circle of remembrance and 5K the year it was started. I so appreciated the chance to volunteer on the blue mile in San Antonio in 12/21. It filled my heart.

How do you calculate the amount raised? It’s way different from what I donated.
                    3
I suspect what you're seeing is lower than what you personally donated, and if that's the case, your donation was probably spread evenly across your entire team, because the donation feature of Racery allows you to either back a team or a specific racer. The default is to back a team. For example, if I donated $250 and had 5 people on my team, it would appear each donated $50. But, we see your individual donation, and you will be getting a formal donation acknowledgment for that full amount. Thank you again for your generous donation.
                    It's a lot higher@CurtisBrake
Thanks for clarifying that. So, the opposite of what I was explaining happened to you. One of your team members generously donated a material amount and it was a "team donation". Therefore his donation was spread evenly across all your team members (including you). And that average-donation was added to your donation as well. So you are in great company - a lot of generous people that are doing something great for women in service.

Question- I thought 15 minutes of Yoga equaled 1 mile walked. I did 60 minutes of Yoga and thought I would have 4 miles walked. I got 1.3 miles. Can you clarify? Thanks
                    1
@Wildhike the conversion chart that we shared is for manual entry as the automatic conversion that racery does is different. You are welcome to go in and alter the mileage. For example, I would add 2.7 miles in as run/walk and in your notes section type #yoga

Hi Laura. One easy way to see how is in your team is to click your team name (SalesforceHLS) next to your name in this chat. That will bring up a screen with everyone in your team. And, you can also chat your team by selecting "team only" when you start a new chat. Thanks for your participation in the Piestewa Challenge.

                    1
@SoulRhythmGrit each person can only be on one team. If you have enough people interested in creating a team one of them will have to initially set it up and be listed as "captain" there are no additional responsibilities as captain.

Are we allowed to log miles via a row machine?
                    1
Absolutely! There will be many options for miles besides running and walking.

How do we upload an avatar or change the color of our team?
                    1
Here's is one way to do it. Click on "Teams" in the above menu options. Scroll to your team and click on it. Then scroll down to "full profile" and click on that. Then click on "Edit my BIO". And finally click on "Edit Photo" on the current photo. Hope this helps.

Hi, Can I edit my time zone? I couldn't find one for America CST. Could someone help me find one and also edit mine please?
                    2
Hi Rakhee. I will take care of that for you. Thanks for your support by joining the Challenge!
Hi Curtis, it still shows Phoenix. Would this change after the challenge starts? Appreciate your help.

Are we able to ride a bike?
                    1
Yes, you can. In fact, there will be two different biking options to select when you do a cycling activity - moderate and vigorous. Cycling, like other activities, is effort-based, not distance-based. That is you won't enter the actual amount of miles that you biked but the time that you biked. We will convert the amount of time that you biked to total miles. Specifically, biking moderately for one hour is equivalent to 4.83 miles of miles, while biking vigorously for one hour is equivalent to 5.682 miles. So, pedal hard and far as each and every minute will count toward your team's goal of 177 miles. Thanks for being a part of this Challenge.

Hi RWBMickey. I can help do that and will be done by the time you read this post.

Is there a way to back out of the team I joined, so that I can create a new team with new members?
                    1
Yes! If you send me an email (emily.ryan@wearblueruntorem...) with your username we can help move you to a new team or allow you to create your own.

Can I have multiple teams for the challenge?
                    1
Hello. The competitive spirit is great, but unfortunately the Racery platform only allows one user/participant to be on one team. You'd have to create another new user to be able to do that.

Is this race going to be held virtually or only in person?

@HappyChappy it is a virtual challenge.

I received a message stating I was Captain but I did not request to be a Captain. I thought the teams were already established and a Captain was already assigned since a team name was picked. Please advise. This is for JLL Alpha.
                    1
@Kelster all "Captain" means is you were the first to register on that team. There are no responsibilities ;) Mike Ho has that all locked down for JLL.

I am sure there is.... let me find out.
Yes. The person who created the team has the option to change the name if you go to edit the team bio.

During the month of March, wear blue: run to remember will focus on telling the stories of our nation's 399K+ currently-serving female service members and the generations who walked before them.  We will close the month with a powerful inaugural community effort called "The Piestewa Challenge", to honor the 177 women who have given their lives in our continued combat operations around the globe.

This event is named in honor of Army SPC Lori Ann Piestewa.  SPC Piestewa is the first Native American service member to be killed in combat on foreign soil, as well as the first female service member killed in Iraq.  In honor of her and all 177 women, we are asking our wear blue community to form teams of up to 8 people and collectively achieve 177 miles of activity in 7 days (March 23 - March 29).

Your route will start at Piestewa Peak, near Phoenix, AZ, and conclude177 miles later at the Hopi Land, which is next to the hometown of Army SPC Lori Ann Piestewa.

Each mile of activity will honor the women who made the ultimate sacrifice, celebrate the women who were willing to make such sacrifices, and unite our community with a shared effort of purpose, health and connection.  Thank you for being a part of this community and specifically this challenge.
